Born in Reading, PA, on June 22, 1984, Dustin was the beloved son of Hyland Lee Reed and Linda Jean (Heckrote) Reed.
He attended the Twin Valley School District and worked as a tow motor operator with East Penn Manufacturing (DEKA) and also enjoyed helping part-time at a local body shop.
Dustin had an adventurous spirit and was happiest outdoors. Whether he was exploring a new place, riding four-wheelers, dirt bikes, or ATVs, working on cars, detailing them until they shined, or racing his RC cars, he was always drawn to anything with a motor. If it had wheels and an engine, chances are Dustin loved it.
Above all else, Dustin cherished being a father. His children were the center of his world, and some of his happiest moments were simply spent making memories with them. Known for his infectious smile, quick wit, and playful sense of humor, Dustin had a way of making people laugh. He loved joking around and was famous for giving an unsuspecting "wet willy,". His larger-than-life personality, and ability to make others smile will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Hyland and Linda, Dustin's spirit will be carried on by his children, Dustin Lee Reed Jr., Justin Lee Reed, and Leeann Elizabeth Reed; his sisters, Sherry Lynn Watson and Lori Ann Reed and her husband, Moses Molina; his nephews, Devon Watson, Cary Speaks, and Brandon Molina; and his niece, Xyanne Molina.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Charlotte Heckrote.
