Edward John Fink, 79, passed away Friday June 19, 2026. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, 27 years of marriage, to Christy L.(Kiehl) Fink. He was born in Reading on April 11, 1947 a son of the late Edward J. and Gertrude (Trudy) Fink.
Edward was a 1965 Central Catholic High School graduate and served as an alter boy at St Margaret's RCC. He proudly served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Ed was employed as an equipment operator in construction, then as a road master and township manager for Montgomery County and lastly, an engineering firm. Ed and Christy spent their time boating on the Chesapeake River and Ed was an avid scuba diver and cold water diver exploring in the Caribbean.
Also surviving are his 2 children; Edward J. and his wife Amber Fink and daughter, Kristin, and several grandchildren. Edward was predeceased by his siblings; Steven Fink and Trudy Nachurski.
A Memorial gathering will be Monday, June 29, 2026, from 1-2pm in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W Neversink Rd Reading, with a Service to begin at 2PM.
