Her husband, Peter J. Swiderski, passed away on August 27, 2005.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late William and Catherine (Dautrich) Mitchell.
Fay worked for several years with the former Luden's Candy, Reading, and was last employed for 10 years with the former Palmers Candy, Reading, until retiring.
She is survived by her son, Michael, and his wife, Kim, Swiderski of Robeson Township.
She is also survived by her sisters, Margaret Lechner of Bern Township and Dawn Sedoti of Reiffton. Also surviving is her grandson, Rugger J. Swiderski.
She was predeceased by her siblings: William Mitchell, Jerry Mitchell, Frederick Yourkavitch, Jackie Mitchell, Doris Drobnick, Loretta Kozlowski and Sylvia Endy.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Interment will follow in the cemetery.
