Born in Almirante, Panama on January 4, 1931, he was a son of the late Remy DeBeauville and Inez (Gary) and Edward Jeznach. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle RC Church, Reading.
Panama was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from Industrial Management with a degree in Drafting.
Panama was employed with NGK Metals as a machine operator for 32 years before he retired in 1993. He was a songwriter, singer and musician and played at various venues for various bands. He was a guitar and bass aficionado.
He belonged to Oakbrook Fire Co., Northmont Fellowship Association, 18th Ward Fire Co. and Meadowbrook Country Club.
Surviving is Panama’s loving companion, Janet L. Brison of Exeter Twp.; a daughter, Yvonne E. DeBeauville of Phoenix, AZ; two step daughters, Dawn Rotkiske and her husband, Anthony of Reading and Diana Price of Reading; six grandchildren; a sister, Loyce Folk and her husband, Allen of Newmanstown; niece, Lisa M. Anderson; nephew, James Folk and four great nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his wife, Faith (Triggs) DeBeauville and a son, Michael F. DeBeauville.
A Funeral Service will be held in Auman’s Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading at 10:30am on Friday, July 26, 2013. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Friday from 9 to 10:30am. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, Reading.
