Francis was predceased by his wife, Doris A. (Mitchell) Drobnick December 15, 2012. He was born in Philadelphia on October 9, 1923, a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Moravitz) Drobnick.
He was an Army veteran, serving during WWII, and was employed by Firestone Rubber Tire Co. in Pottstown as a foreman for 35 years, retiring in July 1980.
He is survived by his children: Norma K. and her husband, Thomas Mosley, of Hamburg; Francis, husband of Maureen Drobnick, and Paul, husband of Dorothy Drobnick, all of Australia; and Thelma A., wife of Gary Archer. His sister, Laura Paff, a resident of Berks Heim , and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive him. Francis was also predeceased by his son, Stanley E. Drobnick.
Services will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at 130 p.m. in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Wednesday 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. www.aumansinc.com.
