

He was born in Reading on June 6, 1932, a son of the late Milford E. and Elsie J. (Kochel) Nein. Frank attended Reading High School and was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, 1953-1955.
He was treasurer for The Cub Scouts at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Reading, Pa. Frank was a steward for Local 6996 and was the grievance committeeman for Local 6996. He served as a vice president, chaired as grievance committee man and was steward for Local 8467 United Steel Workers of America. He was employed by Textile Machine Works, Rockwell International, retiring from Arrow International with 46 years of service in 1996.
Frank enjoyed gardening, small game hunting, fishing and loved repairing things and painting. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Surviving are his son, Randall and his wife, Jackie Nein of Kenhorst; his daughter, Cheryl L. (Nein) and her husband Mark R. Kern of Cumru Township; 2 grandchildren, Nicole and her husband, Robert Kells, Kristin and her husband, David Keiser; 3 great-grandchildren: Kylee Leininger, Alanorah Kells and Jayden Garman.
He was predeceased by his 3 brothers: Clinton, Richard and Ronald.
Services will be Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at noon in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be 11-12 noon in the funeral home.
