Franklin Delano Wolfe Sr.

Franklin Delano Wolfe Sr., 87, formerly of Blandon, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 in Mobile Alabama where he resided with his son. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jane (Fritz) Wolfe.

He was born in West Reading, PA., on September 21, 1937 a son of the late Gerald and Edna (Lees) Wolfe. Franklin was a truck driver for Hotsy Corporation retiring there. He was a huge Philadelphia Phillies fan and also a Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Surviving are his children, Robin Stephenson, Keith Wolfe (Carol) and Frank Wolfe, Jr (Karen), his brother, Ronald Wolfe, step children, Shelly Wessner, Vickie Oswald (Rick), Michelle Haines (George), Tammy Wessner (Doug), and Troy Wessner, 8 grandchildren, 13 step grandchildren,12 great grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren.

Franklin was predeceased by his siblings; Harold Wolfe, Clair Keller, Frederick Wolfe, Gerald Wolfe, Jr., Vivian Wolfe, Arlene Wolfe, Joan Hall, Betty Kuehn, Shirley Wolfe, Barbara Rentschler, Martin Wolfe and Sandy Wolfe.

A visitation for Franklin will be Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
