Gayle Ann Chambers, age 83, peacefully departed this world on May 4, 2026 in Columbus, Ohio. Gayle was born on January 17, 1943 in Reading, Pennsylvania and was a 1960 graduate of Reading High School. She retired from Gai-Tronics where she worked as a Purchaser.
Gayle loved gardening, was an amazing cook who loved to make Polish, Chinese, and PA Dutch dishes, and was a masterful baker whose pineapple upside-down cake and babka were beyond compare. She was a selfless individual who never hesitated to help a friend or family member in a time of need. Even her move to Columbus was motivated by the desire to help her sister Sharon raise her grandchildren, and Gayle was a beloved presence in all of their lives.

Gayle is survived by sister Sue Ann Williams (husband Dennis); daughter Brenda Bender (husband Chris); grandson Michael Bonanno (husband Anthony); two nieces Ashley and Kristi; and five grandnieces/nephews Jason, Roman, Charles, Catie, and Rex.
