My deepest sympathy on the loss of Gerald.  I taught Gerald in the 7th grade at St Peter Claver.  I remember his contagious smile, willingness to always help, and his concern for his classmates.  He was a bit of a “good” troublemaker and he would make me laugh many times during the school day.  

I reconnected with Gerald a few years back and , truthfully, was astonished that he was a Bishop.  I can’t say that would have been my first guess about what his future held. But I can see how he loved the Lord and extended that love to all.  He invited me to church if I was ever back in the Philadelphia area but, sadly, I never made it.

Rest In Peace, sweet Gerald....

A most faithfully precious and dependable brother! He was rock solid when it comes to being a spiritual brother. A great man of God, a great family man, a husband, father, grandfather, etc. He left a wonderful legacy for his church and for the family of God! He will be truly missed! Love you tremendously my Brother in the Lord! Sleep on and take your rest; We'll see you in the morning! 

R.I.P. my brother and I know in God time we all will meet again in paradise.  The man I met some years ago was a kind person who was always loving, caring, and over protective when it came to family especially Julia his little sister 😘.  I thank almighty God for the blessings of knowing him for Prentice and for us sharing family together.  So rest well my dear brother because God got you now.

I was introduced to Gerald many years ago and we've been friends ever since ..I will always remember his loving smile and he always had a kind word ..He was always there when you needed him he was my good friend he will always hold a special place in my heart Rest in Paradise my dear friend and God please take care of him ..You will be truly missed..❤️

I  met Gerald at Saint Peter Clavers school. We were in the 5th grade and laughed all the time. He was so funny  and so cute. Prince was what I called him ,was my first boyfriend.  I am so sorry for the lost to the family,  but I am so grateful to know that he knew Jesus. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Selah.

Pren was always mild mannered kind and quite spoken . When I met his sister over 30 years down south philly he let me know that he was her big brother. The few times that we came into contact with each other it was always positive conversation . He loved his family and most of all his God! Pren take your rest and remember that one day we will meet again!  Rip

Wow I met him some years ago, and he has always been a nice person. Rest in heaven, your work is done and u served the Lord well not rest.

Gerald also leaves to cherish 8 grandchildren; Tyreese, Mkyle, Jahmai, Taj, Shanya, Anesha, tyler, Alijah, Amya, Alana, Shamira, DeAsia, and Jayonna. 2 great grandson's; Messiah and Lamier. He is also survived by a close spiritual friend, Douglas Sloane. Special cousins, Alfred Battle and David Scott, and a very very special mentor Bishop Robert Brookins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Brad Mosely and a granddaughter Meyanna White.
