Born on May 8, 1947, he was a son of the late Robert G. and Eva G. (nee Gerber) Hain of Laureldale.
Glenn was the owner/operator of Hain’s Handyman & Satellite, of Kutztown, for more than 30 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Beckers Saint Peters Church in Fleetwood. He was a game hunter, hobby farmer and Boy Scouts troop leader where he shared his love of the outdoors. He was the drummer of many local bands, most well-known for the Hunch Boogie Band. He had a passion for Native American artifacts and a great appreciation for history. Glenn was an original character in his own play on life, not to be imitated or forgotten easily.
He is survived by four sons and a daughter: Archer G. Hain, Allentown; Jeremiah L. Hain, Shoemakersville; Robert D. Hain, Hamburg; Martin V. Hain, Riverton, NJ; and Chandra Fey Donovan, Clayton, NJ. He is also survived by his brother, David L. Hain and three grandchildren: Evie Hain, Casey Donovan and Sean Donovan.
