Griff Johnson

Griff was a graduate of Reading High School, where he played basketball and football. He attended Benedict College. He was the owner and operator of JADE Construction for more than 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and listening to Gospel music.

He is survived by his siblings, Dr. Robert Johnson (Helen), and Ms. Dorothy Johnson-Aughtry (Horace "Ace" Aughtry); and his longtime partner, Ms. Rose Symington; a niece, Mrs. Michone Johnson Ingraham (George); a great-niece, Ms. Alexa Ingraham; three aunts, Ms. Margaret Fears, Ms. Mavis Melton, and Ms. Georgia Mae Boyd (Kenneth); and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be private. Theo C. Auman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
