Harry Irvin Troop Jr.

Harry Irvin Troop Jr., 85, passed away, Thursday March 26, 2026, in his residence surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Margaret A. (Williams) Troop who would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on June 17, 2026.

Harry was born in Reading on September 8, 1940, a son of the late Harry I. Troop, Sr and Naomi C. (Reinert) Troop. Harry was known for his hard working ethic and was employed by Luden's Candy which later became Hershey for many years, retiring there. He enjoyed music, especially Elvis Presley and vacationing at the Jersey Beach with his family.

Also surviving are his 2 sons; David M. and his wife Jodi Troop and Kevin L. Troop, his brother, Richard S. and his wife Dawn L. Troop and 3 grandchildren; Wesley, Aron and Amanda and great grandson, Oliver.

Harry was predeceased by his 4 siblings; Charles, Doris, AnnaMay and Dorothy.
