

Born in Reading on August 19, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Mesaros) Sepela. She was baptized, confirmed and married in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Reading.
Helen and Frank were owners and operators of Rolling Acres Dairy Farm for over 30 years.
Surviving are two children: Wayne T. Kosmerl and his wife, Margaret S. of Annapolis, MD and Nancy L. Machemer of Wyomissing; four grandchildren: Scott A. Machemer and his fiancé, Jocelyn R. Bakanowski, Randy S. Machemer and his wife, Marcie, Sarah H. Kosmerl and Elizabeth S. “Lizzie” Kosmerl; two step grandchildren: Christopher Fox and his fiancé, Melissa Carpenter and Annette Furbish and her husband, David B.; three great grandchildren: Bayley A., Mason A. and Gaven A. Machemer.
Also surviving are one daughter-in-law: Carol H. Kosmerl; one sister-in-law: Ms. Rose Kershner; four nieces: Karen Latragna, Mary Alice Guzzetti, Georgia Garbini and Victoria Gardner; three nephews: Frank, Jr., Robert and Michael Dobrosky; two nephews -in – law: Dr. Martin N. Gyomber and Luther Piersol; three grandnephews: Justin, Michael and Steven and one grandniece: Kirsten.
In addition to her husband, Frank, Jr. and her parents; Helen is predeceased by her son: Frank A. Kosmerl, III whom passed away Dec. 1, 2013; her grandparents that raised her: Elizabeth M. “Baba” and Joseph Mesaros; three brothers: Andrew, Steven and Joseph Sepela; a sister: Mary Dobrosky; two brothers-in-law: Frank Dobrosky, Sr. and Walter M. Kershner; two nieces: Patsy (Guzzetti) Piersol and Marie Gyomber.
Prayer Service for Helen will be at 11:00am on Monday, December 16, 2013 in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Monday from 10:00am until the time of service. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading.
