Jack Edgar Winters Jr.

Jack Edgar Winters, Jr. 70, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2026, in his residence with Heather, Brooke and Christian by his side. He is survived by his loving wife, Heather L. (Brown) Winters who were married on June 13, 1987.

Jack was born in Hagerstown, MD on July 31, 1956, a son of the late Jack E. Winters, Sr and Rosalie (Hafer) Winters. Jack served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was employed by Eshbach Brothers as a brick layer for 32 years retiring in August 2019. He enjoyed landscaping around his house and playing softball. Jack was a member of Wyomissing Fire Co. and treasured his time spent with family especially, Logan, Christian and Brooke.

Also surviving is his son, Jack Winters, III and his wife Amanda Winters, daughter, Brooke Winters, sister, Lou Ann and her husband James Dotson, brothers; Terry Winters, Gary and his wife Pam Winters, and Teddy and his wife Leann Winters, 7 grandchildren; Jaren Winters, Kaelynne Winters, Chloe DeShazo, Colton Winters, Charlie Winters, Logan Smith, Christian Alfiero and 2 special girls; Alexis Roth and Jenna Roth. Jack was predeceased by his step son, Jeremy Alfiero.

A memorial gathering will be Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 10:30-11:30 AM in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W Neversink Rd Reading, with memorial services to begin at 11:30 AM. Inurnment to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
