James William Ciervo

James William Ciervo,78, of Reading, PA passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 11, 2021. Born July 27, 1942 in Reading, PA he was the son of the late James T. and Loretta I. (Sheidy) Ciervo.

James was the president of the former Ciervo Knitting, Asheboro, North Carolina.

James enjoyed playing chess, deer watching, going on car rides and photography. He also enjoyed watching football and NASCAR.

James is survived by his wife Mary Ciervo, of Asheville, NC; 2 daughters Lisa Johnson, of Reading; Virginia Kline and her fiancé Michael Motta, of Pottsville; stepdaughter Amelia England, of Spartanburg, S.C., stepson, Billy England, of Asheville, NC; companion Sandra Burkhart, of Reading; 2 brothers Gerald and Robert Ciervo, both of Reading, PA and sister Patricia Setley, of FL. James also leaves behind 2 grandchildren Jessica Steiger and Toni Ammon and her fiancé, Emerito Martinez and 2 great grandchildren Desiare Mitchell and Andy Ammon to cherish his memory.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, Reading.
