James "Jimmy" Michael Terrey, 44, of Shillington, passed away Friday July 17, 2026 in the Reading Hospital. Jim was born in Reading on May 15, 1982, a son of Robert W. and Kathleen J. (Pelker) Terrey.

Jimmy and his family are serious hockey fans as he cheered on his favorite team, Vegas Golden Knights. He also had a compassion for his dogs that he and his relation raised.

Also surviving are his 2 siblings; David A. and his wife Cherie L. Terrey and Jennifer J. and her husband Edward Geary, nephews, Vincent D. Terrey, Denton D. Terrey, Anthony D. Terrey and Nicholas Geary, 2 nieces, Alyssa R. Hoffman and Cheyenne Pearson and a great niece, Annaliese M. Hoffman.

A viewing for Jimmy will be Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 10:30-11:30 AM in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W Neversink Rd Reading, with services to commence at 11:30 AM. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Safe Berks, 255 Chestnut St. Reading, PA. 19602 in Jim's memory.
