Jason Chad Pauley, 45, of Sinking Spring, PA, entered eternal rest far too soon on Saturday, September 13, 2025, due to heart complications. Born in Reading, PA on October 8, 1979, Jason was a son to Charles Pauley Jr. and Deborah Lynn (Palmer) Kelly.
Since 2016, Jason worked as a towmotor operator with Landis Express/S&H Express, where his strong work ethic and determination made him a reliable and respected coworker. He also shared his love of disc golf as the owner of Just Playing Disc Golf Supplies and by helping run the Lebanon Valley Disc Golf Club.
Jason possessed a heart of gold and always thought of others before himself. He loved a good laugh, could be stubborn as a mule, and was infamous for “talking sh--” in a way that somehow made you laugh even if you were the target. He loved disc golf and vinyl wrapping almost as much as he loved “talking sh--”.
Driven, ambitious, and hardworking, Jason’s greatest love was his family, and he made sure they always knew it. You will be sorely missed, my friend. This world shines a little less without you. Rest easy.
Jason’s spirit will live on through his father, Charles Pauley Jr., and stepmother, Barbara Pauley; his mother, Deborah Lynn Kelly (John Kelly); his children, Christian Pauley (Brianna Weinman) and Serenity Pauley; his brothers, Douglas Schaeffer (Tammy Schaeffer) and Bryan Schaeffer (Jeanie Turnbull); and his best friends, who were more like brothers, Dominic Gentile, Randy Roeder Jr., and Victor Garipoli. He also leaves a loving extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will always cherish his memory.
A viewing for Jason will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Beginning at 3:00 PM, family and friends will have the opportunity to share memories, stories, laughs, and all the moments that made Jason, well, Jason.
