Jean was born in Reading on May 28, 1934, a daughter of the late Russell L. and Catherine E. (Bell) Swavely. She was a 1952 Reading High School graduate and was an avid reader. Jean was employed by Community General Hospital in central supply where she was a very dedicated worker. Jean was in the Card Club with her high school friends which later turned into going out to eat and catching up with everyone. Jean was a faithful and devoted member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church at 9th & Green Street's Reading. She was a member of Reading Liederkranz. Jean was a devoted mother and Oma who was a selfless person, always giving to others.
Surviving are her 2 children: Carl A and his wife Darla Buller and Cathy M. Buller, 3 grandsons, Brian A. Buller, Corey A. Buller and Marcus A. Rolon and 2 great grandsons, Graham A. Buller and Oliver O. Buller. Jean was predeceased by her son, Brian G. Buller. Services and burial will be private. Auman's Inc Funeral Home, Reiffton is honored to serve the family.
