Joan Christine Mayers

Joan Christine Mayers 87, of Exeter, passed away Monday July 30, 2018 in Berkshire Center. Her husband William K Mayers passed away February 13, 1993. She was born in Pottstown on December 29, 1930 a daughter of the late Preston S and Margaret (Miller) Shaner.

Joan was a 1948 Downingtown High School graduate and was a member of Pennside Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her 3 sons; Douglas K and his wife Beth D Mayers of Wernersville, Keith S Mayers of Exeter, Matthew K Mayers of Exeter, 5 grandchildren; Kendra Q Mayers, Sarah I Mayers, Courtney A Mayers, Gavin K Mayers, and Brayden M Mayers.

Services will be Friday August 3, 2018 at 11:30AM in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial will follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be Friday 10-11:30 am in the funeral home. www.aumansinc.com
