

John A. Brumbach, 77, of Blandon, passed away January 30, 2014 in Wyomissing Rehabilitation. He was the husband of June J. Flatt. John was born in Oley Township on January 6, 1937, a son of the late Earl A. and Dorothea V. (Eyrich) Brumbach. He was a 1955 Oley High School graduate and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was employed by Operating Engineers Local 542 as a heavy equipment operator for 50 years, recently retiring there. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #662 F. & A.M.
In addition to his wife, John is also survived by his 2 daughters: Stephanie L., wife of Kevin Horonzy, of Blandon and Pati A., wife of Steve Moyer, of Muhlenberg Township; 3 stepdaughters: Vicki A. Conrad of Colorado, Lori Weidner of Canada, and Marcia Weidner-Sutphen of Temple; 1 brother, Earl Brumbach of Arlington, VA, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.
John was predeceased by his son, Brian Brumbach.
