On November 17, 2017, the Lord called his humble servant Jonathan Michael Doleman home. He entered this world on March 17, 1989 and lived 28 glorious years leaving this world a better place for all he connected with.
He is survived by his loving and devoted mother, Carrie Doleman and his maternal grandmother, Mary Doleman with whom he resided; his brother Cary Doleman and his wife, Brittany; his two nephews Amari and Elijah; his father John Harvey and his paternal grandmother AnnieMae Gant, both of North Carolina.
Also surviving are a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends from around the world. With a special mention of his closest Aunt Jackie, whom he adored, and was like his second mother, and her daughter Whitney who was more of a sister than a cousin.
He was pre-deceased by his maternal grandfather Lewis Doleman.
Jonathan, born in Germany, weighing a mere 1 lb. 13 oz., so he was a fighter from the very beginning. Growing up Jonathan matured “being nosy” listening to grown folk’s conversations and speaking when not spoken to; usually speaking out of turn and saying whatever was on his mind. However, it worked for him because he grew to be very intelligent, not only by listening to others conversations but by studying anything and everything he could get his hands on.
Jonathan achieved his Bachelors and Master’s Degrees in Business Administration from Goldey-Beacom College a private institution founded in 1886, located in Delaware. He worked in the Banking Industry as a Financial Analyst for one of the top Financial Institutions in the area.
For pleasure, Jonathan loved to travel, often visiting countries around the globe making lifelong friends along the way.
He loved his family more than anything and was faithful to his mother and grandmother to the very end. He will be sorely missed by all. Jonathan leaves behind a legacy that most could only hope to attain.
Services will be Saturday November 25, 2017 at 10am in Spring Valley Church of God, 2727 Old Pricetown Rd., Temple PA 19560. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Viewing will be Saturday 9-10am in the church. Theo C Auman Funeral Home, Reading is honored to serve the family.
