

He was the husband of Dorothy A. (Grigas) Quinton.
Born in Bloomsburg, he was a son of Florence (Willoughby) Quinton, Exeter Township, and the late Joseph D. Quinton Sr.
He was employed by Palmer Plastics, later Dow Chemical, working in power coating and in the maintenance department for more than 35 years, retiring in 2008.
He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.
He was a great softball player with many teams over the years in the area and he was a avid home brewer of beer.
He served in the U.S. Army during peacetime.
Surviving are a daughter, Jennifer L., wife of David R. Sawyer, Pennside, and granddaughters, Makenna J. and Jillian C. Sawyer, both at home.
There are also a sister, Sallie, wife of Kirk Orth, Stony Creek Mills, and a brother-in-law, Gerald Behney, Exeter Township.
He is predeceased by his sister, Mary Behney.
Services will be held at Auman Funeral Homes, Reiffton, on Thursday from noon to 3 p.m. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
