Hi Mom, I hope you are resting peacefully. Well maybe you aren't since I know your grand-daughter was waiting for you. I know how excited she must have been to see you and show you around heaven.I spent the last two days of your life by your side and I am ever so grateful for that. I asked you, as I played Patsy Cline from my phone for you if you remembered how you used to take me for rides when I was little and sing to me. Even on snowy days we would go out to see the snow fall and park and watch for deer. It was hard growing up, but I can only imagine how tough things were for you too. But now you are at peace with all our loved ones before us. No more pain or heartache. I know you had a lot of those. You shared so many things about yourself with me that I know were meant just for me and you to share. Rest in peace Mom, until we meet again, say hi to Daddy for me and take care of Jackie Alexis and Keith until I get there. I love you.

Nanny, I remember when you always used to babysit me. You would always sit there with the curlers in your hair. You were always trying to convince me to eat and I always knew there was no saying no because you just wouldn't give up until I ate. You were very persistent and stubborn.  I remember running up and down the ramp in front of your house while you were sitting on the porch watching me. I remember you just sitting there smiling at me, sometimes for no reason at all. I remember the last time I saw you, when I was leaving I said "Bye Nan, I Love You" and I waved goodbye. You waved back and just kept waving until we were out of your sight. I remember saying that I didn't think you wanted us to leave because you wouldn't stop waving. And I am just grateful that I got the chance to see you one more time before you left us and went to join God and all his angels. I love you Nanny, Rest in Peace <3

I miss you Nanny.  I was just thinking the other day about Camden.  I remember you always taking me to that shipping dock, where the boats would come in.  Across the street was this lil' ice cream store.  They had these squares of neopolitan ice cream that were layed between 2 crisp waffles.  We ALWAYS got that.  We would sit in the car and just watch the boats.  You always did stuff like that.  Even on your own.  You would drive to Wendy's and get a frosty or a hamburger and just sit in the car and people watch or enjoy the day.  I try to do stuff like that all the time because of you.  And you sure was a sassy Nanny.  LOL  I hope to be just that way with my grandbaby.  A sassy, lullabye singing, loving, grandmom with auburn hair.  That's how I will always remember you.  I love you always.  Rest easy Nanny.  I know you are.
