I just heard today (2/22/2025) about the passing of my good friend Joyce.  I had lost touch with Joyce a last year.  
Joyce was one of the most giving persons I have ever had the privilege to meet.  Joyce touched everyone around her.  I imagine Joyce's life like one domino touching another then a cascade of dominos fall and fall.  Her reach and her effect on others will continue as those she has helped, and  touched  help others.  Her life was a story about giving to others.  Helping people help themselves.  I was fortunate to work with Joyce at the Vision Resource Center.  Joyce put up with a lot so that she could continue to help others.  I can not remember a day I saw Joyce when she was not smiling.  Joyce had a joy for life that you could feel.  Her presence was felt everywhere she went.  

I miss my friend.
