

Born in Reading on Nov. 28, 1954, Karen was a daughter of the late Samuel F. and Fern M. (Focht) Guldin.
Karen was employed with Barbett Industries Inc. as a spooler for many years, before retiring in 2004.
She was a Philadelphia Phillies fan and loved spending time at home with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her daughter, Crystal (Breneiser) Blessing, and her husband, Rob E., of Sinking Spring, and four grandsons: Tyler M., Jaycob R., Robb M. and Ayden C. Blessing, all at home in Sinking Spring.
Also surviving are five brothers: Samuel F. Guldin Jr. of Womelsdorf, Michael P. Guldin of Sinking Spring, Randy S. Guldin of Womelsdorf, Steven L. Guldin of Oregon City, OR, and Vincent E. Guldin of Parkesburg; and two sisters, Patricia E. Ferner of Pine Hill, NJ, and Linda M. Peck of Cumru Twp.
Karen was predeceased by a grandson, David J. Blessing, and a brother, Richard C. Guldin.
Services for Karen are private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern PA, 919 Walnut St., Suite 700, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
