Karen Meropi Conzaman, 72, passed away Tuesday May 11, 2021 in her Cumru Township residence surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband Emanuel "Mike" Conzaman, with whom shared 52 years of marriage.
Karen was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 10, 1948 a daughter of the late Constantine and Jennie (Krokos) Kratsas. She was a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, where she served as a bazaar room chairman also catering many church events with her husband Mike. She was owner/operator of various restaurants which include; Caron's Place, Caron's Mediterranean Grill and Caron's Villa. Karen was an avid artist and enjoyed oil painting and mosaic tile work. She loved going to the beach to be in the sand and water for calming peace.
Also surviving are her children; Dean C. and his wife Lauren R. Conzaman of Spring Township, Nichole M. Conzaman and her fiancé Dustin Dean of Cumru Township, Leah J. Conzaman of Morgantown, sister, Diane Skyllas of Cumru Township, and 4 grandchildren; Jordan Ulrich, Sebastian Ulrich, Alexander Conzaman and Zachary Conzaman. Karen was predeceased by her son, Christopher Conzaman.
Services will be Tuesday May 18, 2021 at 12:00 noon in Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 1001 E. Wyomissing Blvd., Reading, PA. 19611. Burial to follow in Charles Evans Cemetery. A viewing will be Tuesday 11:00 am-12:00 pm in the church. Contributions may be made to the church or Alzheimer's Disease Assoc., 237 Court St., Reading PA. 19601.
