

She was the widow of Albert L. Drexler, who passed away October 12, 1987. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Wilton F. DeMarco and the late Susan H. Latshaw.
Mrs. Drexler was a graduate of Birdsboro High School and attended Kutztown University. She was a librarian and served as librarian at St. Peter's School in Reading for many years.
She loved animals of all kinds. She was a supporting member of both the Los Angeles Zoo and the Aquarium of the Pacific. She especially enjoyed taking the coastal drive across the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California while observing the annual gray whale migration.
Mrs. Drexler loved music and was a talented singer. She was a member of the Jose Carreras Society for many years. She was also a published poet.
Mrs. Drexler is survived by her daughter, Elisabeth M. Streland, wife of Col. (ret) Arnold H. Streland USAF, San Pedro, CA. She is also survived by three brothers: Bruce DeMarco, Grants Pass, OR; Erik DeMarco, Sacramento, CA; and Jefferson DeMarco, Pacific Grove, CA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 26th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, 151 N. 9th St, Reading, PA 19601, with internment to follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. Visitation preceding Mass from 8:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m. on Saturday October 26th at the church.
