Katherine Frances (Kreisher) Manbeck, 90, of Reading, Pennsylvania entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Brooke Moyer Manbeck on January 21, 2025. Katherine was born in Reading, PA. on November 10, 1934 a daughter of the late George W. and Alvina (Walker) Kreisher.
Katherine received an award in elementary school for her beautiful penmanship. She was a faithful member of Olivet Reformed UCC. Katherine was employed by Aetna Insurance as a mailroom supervisor for 25 years retiring there. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution Mine Run Chapter in Virginia. She was an avid bingo player, she liked watching classic movies, and also enjoyed cooking. Katherine had a talent of decorating which would enhance a room to make a personal statement. She and her husband relished in antiquing and collecting American pieces. Katherine's special honor was to tend to her grandchildren as they were growing up.
Katherine is survived by her 2 children, Kevin C. Manbeck and his wife Cynthia of Wyomissing and daughter, Kim L. Manbeck Williams wife of the late James L. Williams of Spotsylvania, VA., her brother, Denzil G. Kreisher and his wife Olivia Cervantes - Kreisher of Sacramento, CA., her sister, Myrtice A. Brumbach of Reading, PA., and 2 grandsons, Kyle and Christopher Manbeck.
Katherine was predeceased by her siblings, George F. Kreisher, Richard T. Kreisher, Lester O. Kreisher, Cyrus J. Kreisher, Bruce J. Kreisher, David J. Kreisher, Darwin O. Kreisher, Martha R. Knerr, Maxine Schieman, Christine M. Kreisher, Marilyn J. Cervantez and Emma E. Lantz.
A visitation for Katherine will be Friday, October 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Auman's Inc., 390 West Neversink Road, Reading, PA 19606, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Katherine will be laid to rest next to Brooke in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.aumansinc.com for the Manbeck family.
