Kathleen A. Ladd

She was born on November 11, 1930, in Cumbola, Schuylkill County, a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Tobin) Masonis.

Kathleen was a member of St. Paul's RCC, Reading, and was employed by Luden's, later Hershey's, as a packer for 30 years, retiring in 1991.

She is survived by her children: Pat Ladd of West Reading; Tina M. Stief of Reading; Robert H. Jr. and his wife, Agnita Ladd, of Wernersville; Mark A. Ladd of SC; and Paula and her husband, Michael Freeman, of Chicago, IL; her sister, Dorothy Layko of NJ; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen M. Ladd, on January 26, 2006.

A funeral Mass will be held Saturday March 2, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Paul's RCC, 151 N. 9th St., Reading. Burial to follow in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A gathering will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:00 a.m. in the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's RCC at the above address in her memory.
