Kathleen Louise Wolfe, 86, of Lower Alsace, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her residence. Born on July 1, 1938, in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Luther Wolfe and Lillian (Noecker) Wolfe. In addition to her parents, Kathleen was greeted in heaven by her son Clifford F. Werner and her grandson Barry Shive.
Kathleen had a strong work ethic, holding a position as a spreader at Dolphin Swimwear for 10 years, retiring in May 2002. She also worked at the Knitting Mills and even took on a part-time gig at Arby's on Broadcasting Road. You could say she was never one to shy away from a hard day's work!
A faithful member of Open Bible Fellowship Church, Kathleen's faith was an important part of her life.
When Kathleen wasn’t working, she was at home enjoying her favorite pastimes. She was a fan of jigsaw puzzles and word searches, but her true love was reading. Whether it was a gripping James Patterson novel or a heartfelt Danielle Steel romance, you could always find her lost in the pages of a good book.
Above all, Kathleen was known for her kind and generous heart. She was hardworking, loving, and the type of person who would do anything for anyone. She had a special place in her heart for dogs, who brought her immense joy and comfort throughout her life.
Kathleen’s spirit will be carried on by her 3 children: Kathleen A. Werner, Linda M. Renfroe (Robert), and Michael S. Werner (Iiona); her 5 grandchildren: Chris Adams (Misty), Bryan DeVault, Eric Werner, Colin Werner (Shelley), and Samuel Renfroe; and her great-grandson, Skyler DeVault.
Rest in eternal peace, dear Kathleen. You will be missed by all, blessed enough to have known you.
