Kevin Douglas Price, 70, of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 4, 2023 in Reading, following a cardiac arrest and a long battle with cancer. He was born on March 6, 1953, in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Kevin was a devoted follower of Christ, a loving husband, father, brother, and "Pappy" beloved by all of his family. He is son of the late Edward and Fern Price of Mohnton. He is survived by his wife, Faye of Reading, and 2 children; Katie Logan married to Matt Logan and Jason Price married to Liz Price. He was a proud “Pappy” to Sydney Logan and Jack Price. He has 4 brothers; Sherwood Price, Ronald and his wife Joanne Price, Randal and his wife Diane Price and Brian and his wife Laura Price.
Kevin graduated from Governor Mifflin High School and was employed by Maier’s, Stroehmann, and Bimbo bakeries for 39 years. He was a devoted member of Community Evangelical Church of Sinking Spring. In his free time, Kevin enjoyed watching sports and spending time with family. Most of all, he was committed to serving Christ and sharing God’s love. Most recently Kevin reached out to help the homeless in Reading, sponsored children in need throughout the world through Child Fund, and supported the persecuted church through Voice of the Martyrs. He truly had a heart for helping people.
A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday November 11, 2023 at 10AM in Community Evangelical Church, 51 Green Valley Rd., Sinking Spring, PA. 19608. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Friday November 10, 2023 from 6-8pm in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton PA. 19606.

Kevin will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but we find peace knowing he is finally home with Jesus. Kevin spoke of heaven often and looked forward to this day when he would no longer suffer in his earthly body.
