Born on December 9, 1988, in Reading, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Stacy Lee DeBooth and the late Logan Pruitt. In addition to her father, she was welcomed into heaven by her great-grandmother, Rebecca Jackson.
Latasha was a determined and hardworking woman who dedicated her life to caring for others. She began her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant and, while working full-time and raising her children, put herself through school to earn her Associate degree and become a Licensed Practical Nurse through the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center. For more than 15 years, she compassionately served patients at several healthcare facilities, most recently at Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center, and also worked as a traveling nurse. Her commitment to helping others reflected the kindness and strength that defined her.
To know Latasha was to know joy. She was the life of every party, bringing laughter, energy, and a contagious bright smile wherever she went. She loved to dance, joke around, and make those around her laugh. Her vibrant personality, free spirit, and adventurous nature made her someone people naturally gravitated toward. She found peace outdoors and enjoyed spending time in nature, embracing every opportunity to explore and experience life to the fullest.
Above all else, Latasha was a devoted and loving mother. Her children were the center of her world, and she delighted in spoiling them and creating memories they will cherish forever. She was a true go-getter who faced life’s challenges head-on and embraced new experiences with enthusiasm, never afraid to step outside of her comfort zone, and she encouraged those around her to do the same.
Latasha's spirit will be carried on by her mother, Stacy Lee DeBooth, to whom she was affectionately known as "My Tash Bub"; her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Rebecca Orlando, with her Pop Pop Ralph lovingly calling her "Butterball"; her boyfriend, Quinntein Dyson Sr.; her children, Janasia Bradley, Jiyier Kirby, and Quinntein Dyson Jr.; her siblings, Whitney Tisdale, Darein Washington, Latease Simmons, Sharhonda Simmons, and Hasaan Simmons; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, coworkers, and friends who will forever cherish the love, laughter, and light she brought into their lives.
A celebration of Latasha's life will be held at a later date. Service details will be announced and posted once finalized.
