Laverne was born in Ephrata, PA. on September 9, 1933 a daughter of the late Robert M. and Mary (Donmoyer) Lutz. She was employed by Mohnton Knitting Mills as a sewing machine operator retiring there.
They enjoyed the church services at the Manor Care Nursing Home where Donald was a resident before his passing.
In her younger years, they enjoyed going to carnivals and hearing country music, also enjoying bingo, dancing, and traveling. She also loved to cooking her PA Dutch food and sharing it with the family. She was always full of fun and laughter.
Surviving are her 2 children, Lori and her husband Elvin Garman and Donald A. Hoster and his wife Jean Hoster, 3 grandsons; Dalton J. Holinka, Dawson J. Hoster and Christopher Hoster.
Laverne was predeceased by her siblings, Clyde Lutz, Gilbert Lutz and Loretta Stauffer.
