Lavina B. Lightcap

Her husband, Harold L. Lightcap, passed away March 10, 2008.

Lavina was born in Michigan on October 18, 1924, a daughter of the late Willis and Gainel (Motter) Knapp.

She was employed by Hawthorne Home and Berks Visiting Nurses Association as an LPN. She was a member of Polkateer Pals.

Lavina is survived by her son, David H. and his wife, Eileen Lightcap, of Boyertown; her daughter, Sharon D. and her husband, Dennis Stapleton of North Augusta, SC; her two sisters, Maxine Shafer of Florida and Martha Deming of Niles, Michigan; four grandchildren: Patrick Lightcap, Michele Zawilla, Dwayne Stapleton, and Tara Dukes; four great-grandchildren: Serenity, Luke, Lillian, and Samantha.

Services will be Friday March 1, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Road, Reiffton. A gathering will be held on Friday 2:00-3:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
