Leland G. Williams Jr., 59, of Lebanon, Pennsylvania went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 in Hershey Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Delvonnya R. (Moseley) Williams.
He was born in Reading on October 23, 1963 a son of the late Leland G. Sr., and Stella (Williams) Williams.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Corporal and was employed by Lebanon VA as a chef last working Friday, February 3rd. Lee was a member of Zion Baptist Church and Berks Lodge #47 and Am. Legion. He found solace while riding horses at the Lebanon VA quinine therapy. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was a wonderful chef.
Leland leaves to cherish in his memories, his children; Lakim Moseley, Leland G. Williams, III and Shantavia Williams, sister, Renee widow of Gerald Tames and companion of Rev. James Rhodes, twin grandsons; Chase Lee Ballard and Chance Sheriff Ballard, aunt Jacqueline Williams and a host of family friends and relatives.
A Viewing for Leland will be Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM in Zion Baptist, 224 Washington St, Reading, PA 19601. Following the viewing will be A Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM in the church.
Leland will be laid to rest in Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA. in Leland's name.
