

She was born in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, England, a daughter of the late Samuel and Martha (Lambert) Hyatt. Letitia emigrated to the USA with her family in 1947, naturalized as a citizen on November 4, 1953. She married Edward in 1953 during a civil service and in love for 63 years.
Living in Texas as newlyweds, later moving back to Reading, Pa., to live near relatives. She raised her own family of 4 children. Letitia worked in the potteries in
England at age 14. When living in Reading, she worked at Berkshire Knitting Mills. While raising her family, she worked at Western Electric/AT&T for 19 years, retiring in 1994. She assisted in the Transatlantic Telecommunication Cable connecting one side of the Atlantic ocean to the other.
Letitia was a lifelong member of St. James Church. She was schooled and completed education in England and briefly attended Southern in Reading by law until she turned 16. Letitia enjoyed traveling with her family. She was an artist who worked in many mediums, including painting and sewing. She was an avid fan of her children and grandchildren's activities and belonged to a ladies movie group and Lucent Pioneers. Genealogy was a hobby of hers and gardening was a passion.
In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter, Linda J., and her husband, Rocky K. Styer, of Alexandria, Va.,; her 3 sons: Samuel E. and his wife, Deborah Jarsocrak, of Exeter Township; Leslie G. and his wife, Diane A. Jarsocrak, of Exeter Township; Edward F. and his wife, Roxann Jarsocrak, of Shillington; 7 grandchildren: Kristie McDonald, Dr. Katie Vignola, Rocky Styer Jr., Ross Jarsocrak, Samantha Jarsocrak, Taylor Jarsocrak, Brandon Jarsocrak; and 3 great-grandchildren: Lindsey McDonald, Nicholas McDonald and Camryn Jarsocrak. She is also survived by her sister, Alice Machin, of Staffordshire, England. Letitia was predeceased by her 6 siblings: James Hyatt, Eric Hyatt, John Hyatt, William Hyatt, Matilda Noll and May Latshaw.
Services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016, at 12 noon in Auman's, Inc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. A viewing will be 10-12 noon in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
