Linda was a Reading High School graduate and was employed by Boscov's Distribution Center in the clerical department for 25 years retiring there and worked part time as a bartender at Lincoln Fire Company creating many friendships. She was an avid TV watcher which included cooking and game show network. Linda enjoyed crossword and word search puzzles, skip bo cards, Yahtzee and games on her phone.
Surviving is her daughter; Amanda G. and her husband Paul Mercado, sisters; Evelyn "Cookie" and her husband John Augustine and Nancy E. Long, grandson, Kevin Adams, Jr, niece, Donna Orphanos, 3 nephews, Mark Augustine, Richard Long and Michael Long and a great aunt to many. Linda was predeceased by her brother, Howard L. Hoy.
A viewing for Linda will be Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10-11 AM in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 391 W Neversink Rd, Reading, with a service to commence at 11 AM. Burial to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
