Margarita “Angie” Rodriguez, 66, of Reading, PA, passed away in the embrace of family on April 2nd at the Reading Hospital. She was born on October 12, 1953 to Maria and Martin Rodriguez in Yonkers, New York.
In 1966 at the ripe age of 13, she met Pascasio Vasquez, the love of her life and lifelong partner. Angie and Pascasio went on to have four children, Mayra, Paco, Lisa, and Jamie.
Angie was a devoted wife, a profoundly loving mother, a dedicated grandmother and an enthusiastic great-grandmother. She loved Jehova above all. She committed her life to caring for and serving others. Every week without failure you would see Angie faithfully bringing the Good News to others within the community.
She was always seeking ways to improve the lives of others.
She was greatly admired by her grandchildren whom she adored. Angie dedicated a large portion of her life embedding love, structure, and most importantly the ways of Jehova into their lives. She was so dutiful to them that each one had their own bedroom in her house. If she could steal them away from her daughter she would! This is the kind of grandmother she was.
Her sense of humor brought immense joy within her home and to others who knew her well. Her exceptional home cooking invited many unforgettable gatherings and warm memories to the home life she created. Angie will be greatly missed.
Angie was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband, her brother Jesus Rodriguez, her sister, Haydee, her four children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. A private virtual funeral will be held Wednesday, April 8th.
