Marlowe Kyle Bowen

Marlowe K Bowen Sr. 47, was called home on July 19, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Johanna Solis Cruz. Marlowe was born in Reading on September 23, 1974, to Earlie Snead and Patricia Bowen. He was a loving and supportive father, brother, uncle, and friend. Marlowe enjoyed traveling, music, but most of all, loved his family, friends and the “Dallas Cowboys Football team.”

He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughters Mariah Pierre-Louis and husband Franck, of Exeter, PA; Diamond Bowen, of Reading, PA; Monica Bowen and husband Youssef Osman, of Phillipsburg, NJ; Marlena Bowen-Phillips and husband Eathan Phillips, of Clarksville TN; Meicha Bowen, of Reading, PA; Milani Bowen, of Lakeland, FL; and son Marlowe Bowen Jr, of Reading, PA; his beloved grandchildren, Alaysia, Malaysia, Makayla, Ane, Zion, Nathan, Neymar, and Matthew; his sister Michelle Gilliam wife of late Charles Gilliam, of Reading, PA; brothers Michael Bowen and wife Nubia Ali Bowen, of Sicklerville, NJ; Marshall Bowen and wife Kathy Bowen of Blubell, PA ; Marlon Bowen, of Reading, PA; and Earl Lucas, of Reading, PA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Marlowe was preceded in death by his parents, Earlie Snead and Patricia Bowen.

A Celebration of Life Service will be celebrated Friday July 29, 2022 in Theo C Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA. 19601 followed by burial in Berks County Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be Friday 9-11am in the funeral home.
