Mary Ann Phillips

Mary Ann Phillips touched the lives of many people. She grew up one of the oldest of 13. At an early age she knew hard work. Since her mom worked 2 jobs, Mary Ann became the caretaker of her siblings. In 1965 she married Howard. They both dedicated lives and were baptized as One of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1971. They had 2 daughters of their own, Sheryl and Shelly, better known as Cissie. Mary Ann was the best Mummum EVER to: Jacqulyn, Hunter, Ethan and Harrison! Every summer you could find her walking the boardwalk at Ocean City, NJ. She loved Sudukos and building puzzles. Mary Ann spent countless hours in her sewing room, jammin’ to the oldies. Except on Monday evenings, that was line dancing night. Mary Ann was born with dancing shoes on. She was an extremely generous and selfless person. She made countless quilts and quillows. She sewed many bride maids and wedding dresses. She had a constant pile of mending to be done. She learned to be a caterer so she could save people money. She catered so many parties and wedding there is no way to count them all. She never charged anything for her services. Mary Ann was always ready to help anyone if she could.
