To the family: My thoughts have been with you during this  very sad time. I worked with Missi for many years; she was very devoted-had a wonderful rapport with the patients. I can never find the words.... I've had the pleasure of spending manyyears with Missy at our second home. (wesh) She always had a smile to share even when you or she was having a bad day. You cant find many people that can put aside if they are feeling bad just to make you feel better but she was one of those people. She always had a deep commitment to her family and her friends and her clients that she cared for. I would talk with her often and sometimes you didnt even have to say a work her face just said it all. She will be missed but we will all meet her again one day so watch over us Missy and everytime i have a Shuey pretzel or there are just so many things that will make me think of you. To her family my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Stacy and Tootie,
Your mother was one-of-a-kind, a special woman, a devoted, giving and caring friend. You had a mother who loved you both with everything she had. She and I spent many long nights working 11-7 shift together back in 1988. Her sense of humor and calm demeaner always helped the night seem less like work,and more like a get-together of two friends for a shift. First thing that she would do was put on a fresh pot of coffee for us, and now and then she would bring me a treat from Wenger's Bakery. She was always doing and thinking of others. The patients always seemed to be more at ease with her presence on the ward-I know I was. She was always thinking about you-I remember the check in calls-oh how she loved the phone!  You were the light of her life.
We are so blessed that Missy touched our lives.
Rest in peace dear friend. Girls, you are in my thoughts and prayers. So sorry for your loss.

Missy worked for me as a banquet waitress at the Abraham Lincoln Hotel. She was an excellent server. Her sense of humor kept us all going through long hours of work. My sincere condolences to her family.

I don't even know where to start...Missi B, you were like a mother to me. What a wonderful, loving woman you were. You cared so much for everyone around you. We can still remember Christmases and holidays, and how you always helped me in times of need, with no hesitation at all. Both you and your girls held my baby shower for Ariana at your house, we couldn't have done it without you. Brianna remembers playing in your basement with Cain, and always wanting to try on your jewelry! You will always have a special place in our hearts, we will miss you deeply.

Rev.-21 Look!the tent of God is with mankind and they will be his people And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and Death will be no more. To a wonderful caring, giving person.That I admired.

Missi touched many lives. I am one of them. I was a patient at Wernersville Hospital for many years and Missi was always there with a hug and a smile and a kind word. Because of her support and kindness I am now recovering from my illness. Missi was a big part of that recovery! I am so saddened that she has passed and send my deepest sympathy and love to her family. I kind of feel like I know you because Missi always talked about her children and grandchildren. Her spirit will always be with you as it will be with me.

I will miss Missi B along with 100's of people that she has touched in her short life.  I'm grateful for the times we shared.  Love you forever.

Wow..I am not sure  where to begin.  I loved working with Melissa!  I was very sad to hear this news.  I always had wonderful times with her and our many shared working experiences.  I honestly remember her discussing her daughters all the time.  Too many stories to count.  My first memory was her talking about the beautiful voice that Stacy had.  At the time Michelle (Tootie) was maybe 11. She was the first parent I know to get her daughter a pager.  At the time I didn't realize how ahead of the curve she was.  Now a pager is virtually unheard of. At the time she told me it was her way of keeping track of her daughter.  As a mother now, I know exactly just what she was doing!  She just loved her daughters and would do anything for them. I am happy that she was able to be a part of my life as a friend, and co-worker.  We will really miss her!   Jennifer and Frank Fields
