Nathan Lee Weaver, 60, of Gastonia, North Carolina formerly of Reading, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 18, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Andrea E. (Preston) Weaver. Nathan was born in Reading, June 14, 1961 a son of the late James and Lela (Brookins) Weaver.
He was a 1979 Reading High School graduate and also of Lincoln Tech. He was a member of First Century Worship Center. Nathan was employed by AT&T as a technician for almost 20 years and Singer Equipment as a service tech for @ 18 years. He was a great family man who enjoyed cooking and was the family master griller and he taught his younger relation how to fly kites, how to drive cars and to fish. Nathan loved to wear his signature hats.
In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his 2 daughters; Octavia and her husband Jason Watson of N.C., Erica and her husband Travis Blanding of Phoenixville, PA., his siblings; Dorothy and her husband Saul Hodge, Fran Weaver-Hightower widow of Joseph Hightower, Debra and her husband Leonard Stinson, Yvonne Weaver, Winston C. Weaver, Denise Weaver, Maxine Decker, sister-in-law Brenda widow of Richard E. Weaver, 5 grandchildren; Marcus Moore, Jr., Davon Moore, Serenity Blanding, Lexington Blanding, Kobe Blanding, 2 step-grandchildren; Jordan and Jaden and a host of relatives and close family friends.
A viewing for Nathan will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Theo C Auman, 247 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
