Nicolas Soler, 78, of Temple, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Penn State Health St Joseph Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Rosa Emma Cartagena) Soler. Nicolas was born in Quebradillas, Puerto Rico on December 6, 1942 a son of the late Felipe Feliciano and Fundadora Soler. Nicolas was employed by the City of Reading in the maintenance department retiring there. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan and was a member of St. Peter's RCC.
Also surviving are his children; Migdalia Rosa and her husband Joe, Gilbert Soler, Nicholas J. Hine, Sr., and his wife Gloria Massa-Hine, Aurora Hine, sister Doris Faillace, 9 grandchildren; Jonathan, Andrew, Jasmine, Aiden, Nicholas, Jr., Jeffrey, Brittanie, Jennifer, Michael, 12 great grandchildren and one on the way.
A visitation for Nicolas will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 6:00- 9:00 PM and Friday September 10, 2021 from 8:45-9:45 AM at Theo C Auman, 247 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, September 10, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 322 S. 5th Street, Reading, PA 19602. Burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.
