Patricia Ann Sigmund

Patricia Ann (Wilson) Sigmund, 76, of Reading, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family on Monday, October 3rd, one day before her 77th birthday. She was the loving wife of the late LeRoy J. Sigmund who sadly passed away in 1980.

Patricia was born in Reading on October 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Edward and Anna M. (Rushon) Wilson. She attended Reading High School and was employed with Lucent Technologies as a Lab Technician for 28 years before retiring in the mid 90’s. Patricia enjoyed lottery and BINGO. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are four sons, LeRoy Sigmund of Reading, Peter Sigmund, Frederick Sigmund and his wife, Michele of Centerport and Lee Sigmund and his wife, Lisa Care Sigmund of Reading; 15 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, LeRoy, Patricia is predeceased by a daughter, Tina M. Cortes and her siblings, Connie Wilson and Ralph Wilson.

Services for Patricia are private and at the convenience of the family. Theo C. Auman Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
