Paul was born in Katouna, Greece on April 29 1931 son to the late Joanne and Nicholas Katsigiannis.
He was husband of the late Katherine (Pappas) Katsigiannis who died in April of 2016.
Paul immigrated from Greece to the US in the early 60’s to discover the land of opportunity. He worked hard for many years and was able to finally realize his dream of owning a restaurant. He and his brother, Spiros, with the help of their wives, Katherine and Angela, and all 4 of their children, Nick, JoAnne, Joanne and Paul Jr. were able to open Maxie’s Carsonia Inn in Pennside, PA in 1976. They ran this successful neighborhood restaurant for over 15 years, making many friends all along the way.
Paul loved to cook and was very proud of his large home garden back in PA. He and Katherine also enjoyed traveling and discovering the wonders of the US. They also traveled back to Greece often to visit family and friends. Paul was especially proud of his Greek heritage and passed on the traditions of his homeland to his family.
Paul is preceded in death by his brother Frank Katsigiannis. He is survived by brother Spiros Katsigiannis of PA, and sisters Anastasia Konopnotis and Demitroula Nikos in Greece.
Paul is also survived by his two children, Joanne Ream (Christopher) and Paul N. Katsigiannis Jr. and 4 grandchildren: Kaitlin, Harrison, David and Sophia. Paul was a very proud grandfather and loved his grandchildren very much.
