She was the wife of Gregory A. Snook, Sr.
Born in Puerto Rico, she was a daughter Luis and Anna Ortiz, Puerto Rico.
She was a 1983 graduate of Reading High School and went on to receive her Bachelors degree in Nursing at Alvernia University. She also attained her Masters degree in Nursing Administration from Alvernia.
She worked in Hospice care for many years and the last 10 years worked for Pennsylvania Dialysis Clinic of Reading, recently being promoted to Chief Executive Officer.
Her family was her everything, often noting she equally loved her “real family” and her “dysfunctional family”. She was a lover of nature, hunting and gardening. She was a dedicated student in Karate instruction.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she is survived by her son, Gregory A. Snook, Jr. and his companion Katherine Kahn of Longmont, Colorado. Also surviving are her brother Jay Ortiz of York and her sister Ada Ortiz of Puerto Rico.
Following Ramona’s wishes, services and burial will be private at the family’s convenience.
