Robert Lee McNeil

Born in Newport News, VA on January 3, 1945, he was the son of the late Thomas J. and Irene (Nichols) McNeil.

Robert was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Vietnam War. After serving our country, Robert was employed with Eastern Machine Products as a welder.

In addition to his companion, Pearl; Robert is survived by four children, Michael S. McNeil of Shillington, Jeffrey S. McNeil of Schuylkill Haven, Thomas Odjani of California and Maria Mills of Reading; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Also surviving are four siblings, William McNeil of California, Mazetta M. Bunting of Newport News, VA, Kathy McNeil of Newport News, VA and Christene Burky of Hampton, VA and his ex-wife and good friend, Sharon Holtz of Reading.

Robert is predeceased by two siblings, Yvonne Milo and Shirley Fleming.

A funeral service for Robert will be Monday, March 16, 2015 at 11am in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home on Monday from 10 until the time of service.
