Born in Reading, PA, on November 17, 1948, he was a son of the late William Buchter and Florence (Scholl) Stoyer. In addition to his parents, Ronald was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Deborah A. (Koller) Buchter, and his sister, Barbara (Stoyer) Campbell.
Throughout his life, Ronald worked in many roles, but his favorite by far was serving as a security guard at Maple Grove Raceway, where he could be close to excitement of the track.
A proud San Francisco 49ers fan, Ronald also loved WWE and NWO wrestling, NASCAR, Monster Trucks, and drag racing. When he wasn’t cheering on his favorite team, drivers or wrestlers, you could find him relaxing with a word search or watching Walker, Texas Ranger.
Ronald’s spirit will be carried on by his daughter, Christina M. Pulaski, and his son, Ronald W. Buchter Jr. He is also survived by his brother, Terry Buchter; his sisters, Jeane Ferreri and Joan Bochis; and his four cherished grandchildren: Kiralyn Buchter, Brandon Pulaski, Nathan Buchter, and Tyler Buchter.
At this time, no services are scheduled. The family encourages friends and loved ones to honor Ronald in their own special way; perhaps by watching an episode of Walker, Texas Ranger or cheering on their favorite driver in his memory.
