Ronald James Shiller

He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia A. Shiller. Ron was born in Reading on January 6, 1935, a son of the late Benjamin J. and Hazel M. (Strunk) Shiller.

He was an Army veteran and was employed by Penn Optical as a wire driver.

He is survived by his son, Ronald J. Carlson and wife, Kim, and daughters, Brandy and Lynda; his siblings: Edward S. and his wife, Shirley Shiller, of York; Shirley, widow of Stanley Stoudt, of Exeter; Sandra, widow of Leon Warmkessel, of Exeter; Joyce and her husband, David Sharpley, of Oley; Robert D. and his wife, Gladys Shiller, of Leesport; Marilyn and her husband, Ken Reppert, of Temple; and Judy Shiller of Exeter.

Ron was also survived by his sister-in-law, Miriam Fox of Beach Haven, NJ; brothers-in-law, John Maier of Reading and Bruce Deeds of Exeter; and Ron's companion, Shirley Kubacki.

Also surviving are step-children: Joan, wife of Leland Mays, of Fleetwood; Jay, husband of Jane Carlson, of Reading; Keith, husband of Cheryl Carlson, of Reading; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his siblings: John Fox, Richard A. Shiller, Dawn McCoy, Patricia Maier, Carol Deeds and Rosemarie Shiller.

Services and burial are private.
