Ronald Lee Zimmerman

His wife, Sandra L. Zimmerman, passed away on November 9, 1996.

He was born in Pottsville on August 2, 1949, a son of the late Thomas Jr. and Mae (Wolfe) Zimmerman.

Ron served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War Era and was employed by Forest Hills Memorial Park, then Berks County Memorial Gardens, as a licensed blaster and assistant superintendent for 20 years, retiring on May 1, 2013.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Kevin L. and his wife, Kristina Zimmerman, of Pine Grove; Jason L. and his wife, Catherine Zimmerman, of Lehighton; 5 grandchildren: Brook, Tyler, Gina, Nickolas and Dylan. His brother, Larry Zimmerman of Pine Grove. Also surviving is his companion of 16 years, Sharon Lee Zimmerman.

A memorial service will be Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 11 a.m., in St Paul's United Methodist Church, 19 E. Pottsville St., Pine Grove, PA 17963.

Interment to follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Family and friends will be received 10-11 a.m. in the church.
